ABOUT US

Troop 222 is a youth-led organization sponsored by the Valley of the Moon Lions' Club. 

​

All activities are based on what the youth plan. 

​

Activities include:

• Weekly meetings with topics such as basic and advanced Scouting skills, career development, hobby development, planning for upcoming outings, merit badge classes, and guest speakers. 

 

• Monthly weekend outings can include: camping, hiking, biking, canoeing, rock climbing, cold weather camping, shooting sports, backpacking, skiing.

• Extended outings: such as summer camp, high adventure camping, National Jamboree

 

• Service Projects: Scouting for Food, Veteran's Day, Memorial Day, marching in parades, bike path clean up, Eagle projects, and more.

We are a small, dynamic troop that focuses on scouting skills, fun, adventure, and friendship. Leadership opportunities available for almost everyone--including adults! With a smaller troop, each scout has more opportunities to participate, make friends, learn, and grow!
